Jim: The escape pod plunged towards The Maw and the Rathtar chased it as we turned and fled!
Beckett: Hang on just a sec. If the Rathtar is four-dimensional, then it should be able to avoid barriers in three dimensions by using the fourth dimension to step around them.
GM: Yeeess...?
Beckett: So back when it was chasing us on Xasha’s freighter—
GM: Back in the future, but yes?
Beckett: —it shouldn’t have been stopped by walls and doors. It could have just reached around them and appeared on the other side.
Jim: That’s assuming the walls and doors don't extend into the fourth dimension.
[SFX]: Gape {the Rathtar opens its enormous jaws to swallow the escape pod}
Beckett: You’re saying Xasha’s ship was four-dimensional?
Jim: I didn’t come up with it. Just reaching the obvious conclusion.
GM: Er...
Jim: Very clever thinking to make that ship four-dimensional!
[SFX]: Chomp! {the Rathtar swallows the escape pod}
GM: Yes... thank you.
[SFX]: vrroooaaarr...!! {the Lady Luck flies away}
