Commentary by memnarch (who has not seen the movie)
Ahhh, here we go. These characters are definitely sticking around if the players (or at least Pete) are starting to make suggestions on changes to the story. Maybe it’ll be self-published online after all the edits happen (and the dialogue gets fixed); I’m pretty sure there’s various companies that do just that.
And that’s also a good point. Why would Han/Chi’ra be trusted at all? Heck, if Beckett knew how Chi’ra got here in the first place, he’d probably toss him in the nearest pit. At the very least, we can tell that Chi’ra isn’t going to steal Beckett’s identity or anyone else’s around for that matter; none of their names start with a D.

Jim: After a routine advance across No Man’s Land, we were in a trench near the walker unloading zone.
Chi’ra: Captain Beckett, I’m Chi’ra.
Beckett: Isn’t that a girl’s name?
Jim: He didn’t say that!
Beckett: I think he would, actually.
Jim: Really? Huh. Okay, I can add that in. <scribble>
Chi’ra: Yeah, look, to prove myself, I want to join your company.
Beckett: You need to prove yourself before joining my company.
Jim: Now that’s a good line.
Beckett: You wrote that, I’m just reading it.
Jim: But the way you read it! And the way I wrote it, of course.
