Commentary by memnarch (who has not seen the movie)

Hey wait a minute, this would mean the bridge had the warehouse attached to it. This is less of a bridge and more of an artificial island isn’t it?

Can’t forget the dice! I don’t think Han was ever shown having dice in the original trilogy, so it’s interesting to have this detail shown.

Chasing on foot seems like a really bad idea for actually catching someone. I feel that a hovertruck should be capable of ramming through something smaller than itself, but Moloch also should be able to tell that the destination is the spaceport and cut Benito and Qi’ra off. Moloch must not have been hired for his brains.

And I think I recognize the shape of those spaceships in that last panel. That multi-cylinder back end is very distinctive. I don’t I’d be able to see it and not think “Star Wars”. Little visual details like this are nice reminders to have.

Transcript

Moloch: Syke! Rebolt! Time to chase them on foot!
[SFX]: pow!
Benito: Qi’ra! Come on!
Jim: I grabbed my lucky dice and we ran for it.
[SFX]: pow!
Rebolt: Hot on their heels, vicious hounds! By which I mean chase them, not warm their feet!
[SFX]: snarl!
Jim: We ran the last two kilometres across the bridge to the spaceport.
Corey: Outrunning hunting dogs?
Jim: They needed to stop to sniff some lamp posts on the way.
