Errrrrrrrr......... This is not just a Force Phonecall like the end of Episode V. This is a whole Force Telepresence thing. How many of the other scenes were like this one and there's just been clever editing to have it look otherwise?? Mind you, the lighting on Kylo's face definitely changed here, but this could just be shown from Luke's perspective now and what he sees. All the better to show how shocked he would be in finding that he couldn't prevent his new apprentice from chatting with the one who destroyed his school a second time.

This would have to be a reverse of the usual "tempt the good guy" going on in the comic now, right? Since we've got proof now that Kylo and Rey have been talking, and in person no less, this means it's possible any or all of the other scenes could be the same way. Like the teleporting water thing; maybe it actually did teleport somehow? So perhaps Kylo really did encourage Rey to find the slime pit so that she'd see Luke is hiding things from her. That could cause a good amount of discord from the lack of communication, which would fit with what Team Bad Guy likes to do to weaken the side of Team Good Guy.

Whatever the case may be, this really changes how interesting the previous comic conversations are for me. It's like finding out that time stops are a thing or that BB-8 managed to tie up and gag the guards without hands. The comic has just gotten all the more wild.
