Heh, of course that silly blaster has a not-obvious safety. Good way to show that Rey has no experience with firearms though! That blaster does look impressive however with that fire trail below it. Either that, or the tree that was hit is a lot closer than it looks. And I think Pete's misremembering how successful that shock probe was. Unless I'm misremembering when it was successful?
Interesting that this shuttle is shown in the movie as well, and that it definitely looks different than the troop carriers from before. Hmmmmmm. Last time we saw that shuttle shape, Kylo Ren was on it and probably Phasma as well. Kylo's on his ship already, which could be this shuttle, so they could definitely be here already. Given the timing with the C-Beam firing though, I'm guessing that Phasma won't be here though if it's Kylo's shuttle. And even that feels like a stretch, but it also seems unlikely that we'd be introduced to another new important character at this point in the movie.

GM: Rey, BB-8, you crest a ridge. First Order fighters and ground troops are firing on the bar before you. A shuttle is landing.
[SFX]: Pow! Pow!
Rey: Do I see Yanni or Finn or Chewie?
GM: No. <roll>... A twig snaps, to your right.
[SFX]: Pow!
Rey: I look that way.
GM: An armoured trooper stands amongst mossy rocks, back to you.
Rey: I draw my blaster and fire!
[SFX]: klik
GM: The safety is on.
Rey: Damn! I flip the safety off.
[SFX]: klik
GM: Immediate action Shooting roll, at -1 for stress.
Rey: Seriously? Ugh, 2.
[SFX]: Pow!
GM: As you fumble with the switch, the trooper spots you!
[SFX]: klik klik
[SFX]: Boom!
GM: A fireball erupts in the forest behind you. You get the safety off.
Rey: Fire! 6.
[SFX]: Boom! {Rey's shot goes astray and blows up a rock}
Rey: Sod! I wish I had my staff. Blasters are so clumsy and random.
BB-8: Either is better than a shock probe.
Rey: Hey, don’t knock the shock probe. I did over a million dice of damage with that.
BB-8: Maybe you should use one against this trooper, then.
