Commentary by memnarch (who has not seen the movie)
Wow, Beckett is impatient. It can’t have been more than a few seconds that he ordered the train unhooked and he’s already yelling about it. All the more evidence of how he’s a scoundrel I suppose.
And weirdly enough with the motion blur, it looks like Beckett is tripping over the hatch that he then takes cover behind. That would fit so well with the comic’s version of Jim retconning the story! But that also would be incredibly dumb to have happen in the movie for this guy that seems to be meant as a mentor.
So any bets that the detached cars will just slowly disappear and one of the guards will get a lucky shot off at one of the trio?

Jim: Things were getting desperate for Beckett.
[SFX]: Boom!
Corey: Why doesn’t he take cover?
Jim: Cover is the refuge of a scoundrel!
Corey: He is a scoundrel!
[SFX]: Pow! Boom! Pow!
Jim: Ohh... Good point. Yes. Yes, he is.
{Beckett takes cover}
[SFX]: Pow! Boom!
Beckett: Get a move on, you two! Do I have to do everything around here?
Chi’ra: C’mon Chewie, let’s uncouple the cars.
[SFX]: Click
[SFX]: rumble rumble...
[SFX]: Hissss!!!
Chewbacca: While satisfying in a “task achieved” sense, that was no lollygagging.
