9.6 seconds to the bridge? Or 9.6 minutes? Minutes aren’t usually stated in tenths, so that’s a rather odd phrase to use. So far so good though.
Ah, here’s another good reason to have the external catwalk. Probably the sole reason to have it as well. Pulling a reverse Qui-gon would look nowhere near as cool from that kind of boarding mechanism. And another good way to show how Chewbacca is much more physically in shape than movie-Han is.

Jim: Beckett, Chewie, and I jumped onto the train.
Beckett: Geronimo!
[SFX]: vvrrooaarr...
Chewbacca: Mind the gap.
[SFX]: rumble rumble...
Chi’ra: Geroni-nooooo!
[SFX]: Splat!!
Chi’ra: Ooof!
Chewbacca: I told you to mind the gap.
