Rio seems pretty cool. Maybe I just like the idea of Star Wars space-monkeys (not the human kind), but I do hope he gets to have a decent ending. I also find it interesting the GM gets their signature speech balloon color but no one else does. It’s definitely helpful in keeping track of who’s who.
Now this is proper foreshadowing. The first of many to try and chase down the serial identity thief perhaps? The only way it could be beaten is if Alberto shows up for having that speeder stolen.
“I’m glad we can trust you”? This from the guy who said you shouldn’t trust me? Chi’ra’s gonna end up backstabbed again tomorrow, isn’t he? At least Beckett gave him a blaster. I think it’s meant to be the traditional Han Solo blaster, but the backlighting from the fire makes it difficult to tell.

Rio: So, what’s your sob story, flyboy? You’re after something. Revenge?
Val: Nah, look at him. It’s a girl.
Chi’ra: It’s both! The girl might want revenge on me.
Rio: Oohoo, juicy! Tell us more.
Chi’ra: Well, I’m a complete scoundrel, you see. I betrayed my own girlfriend to get out of a bad situation.
Chi’ra: Although given where I left her, I’m pretty sure I’ll never see her again. Haha!
Beckett: Well, I’m glad we can trust you.
Beckett: Here, have a blaster.
[SFX]: toss
Chi’ra: Neat!
