Bribing their way through the checkpoint and... then what? I guess selling the speeder could work, or potentially even using that as the bribe. But these two haven’t given me a sense that there’s a plan beyond “get to the spaceport” even with Alberto saying otherwise. Coaxium is probably very illegal given Proxima’s want of it and therefore just as likely to make it off-planet as a stolen speeder.
Bigger vehicle, more room for mods; that sounds reasonable to me. It tends to be the way video game vehicles and weapons work at least. And since everything in Star Wars runs with antigrav tech anyway, it’s not like the extra weight is going to be an issue for getting up to speed. Okay yes, momentum could be a pain, but that’s a problem that’s shown up like twice in the entire comic series so far.

Alberto: There’s a starliner leaving from Coronet Spaceport, and we’re gonna be on it!
Alberto: We bribe our way through the checkpoint, and we’re free.

Jim: As we crossed the bridge to the spaceport, Moloch came up behind us in his A-A4B truckspeeder.
Moloch: I shall ram you off this platform, into the water!
Alberto: Not a chance, Moloch!

Ben: If you’re in a custom modded speeder, how did Moloch catch up in a truck?
Pete: Maybe it was modded to go slower.
Jim: No. The truck was bigger, so it had more mods.
