Things that work against allies can always be of potential use in certain situations.
If one of your party gets possessed. Or they've been replaced by a doppelgänger. Or they get overcome with greed and turn against their fellows. Or they've been replaced by a clone. Or if one of their abilities misfires and causes friendly fire damage. Or if the paladin decides the rest of the party's actions are just a tad too evil. Or they've been replaced by a clone of a doppelgänger. Or one of you becomes a werewolf. Or one of you has been infiltrating the enemy as a double agent for so long they lose sight of who they are really loyal to. Or they've been replaced by a doppelgänger of a clone. Or one of you returns to the present from the future, intent on killing you all for that civilisation-destroying thing you haven't done yet.
Note that all of these are perfectly realistic scenarios for a game.

Aww. I know BB-8 is the do-anything buddy droid that also gets hit with the clown stick now and then, but it's still a shame to see it happen. At least BB is pretty resilient and a tree falling like that isn't a huge problem beyond not being able to move. Here's to hoping they can pull off something cool at least once in this movie.
Interesting view of dropping the ribbon and running away from it. Especially since it's red. I'm probably reading a bit too much into it with the slow burn of the comic, but might it foreshadow Rey turning away from The Dark Side because of wanting to help her companions. It's a neat shot either way, and it's nice to have it in a well lit scene too!

GM: The visions end.
Kylo Ren: That was illuminating. So Han Solo is going to haunt me until I deal with Anakin too?
Rey: I can think of worse... No, I’m not sure I can.
Rey: All I got was stuff about my sword. And becoming evil. And a girl telling me to bring something to her.
Rey: Is this some backstory revelation thing? Is the girl me?
GM: You don’t recall any incident like that in your life.
GM: As you focus back to your surroundings, you notice one of the trees you felled has BB-8 pinned.
BB-8: Huh? What about my Tactical Evasion?
Rey: Isn’t it obvious?
BB-8: What?
Rey: You said enemies won’t attack you. But a tree isn’t an enemy.
Rey: And I’m the one who chopped them down. Also not an enemy.
{beat; Rey dashes over to assist BB-8 in getting out from under the tree trunk}
BB-8: Next time I choose a defensive ability, I’m going to make sure it works against allies too.
