Mistaken identity is always good for a few laughs. When a group of heroes walks into a new town, someone in the public could easily mistake one of them for someone notable, such as the Mayor, or the Captain of the Watch, or the evil wizard who burnt down half the town...
But you can take it to a whole new level if someone is mistaken for an inanimate object!

Ok, this is pretty funny. While I still wonder why they're at a casino, it looks like we'll at least get some amusement from the place. Odd looking slot machines that conveniently look close to BB-8, a funny little drunk alien trying to play the slots, and it even took me a couple look throughs to realize the drink glass immediately smashed on the ground. I wonder what else we'll end up seeing here.
If I was the GM and feeling mean, at least one of the coins would be used to track BB-8 specifically. Obviously, all of the coins would be tracked by the house, but there wasn't even a small attempt by the party to disguise anyone! Ok, droids don't wear clothes, but Finn and Rose aren't in a black or white suit/dress/other! Security would definitely be keeping an eye on them for trouble, but any of the patrons that recognize them might realize the First Order could pay reasonably well for that information. As it is, I'm not going to be surprised in the slightest if the coins either cause a problem for BB later, or get shot out as improvised ammunition.

GM: To one side is a bank of spherical slot machines.
[SFX]: klink {a woman inserts a coin into a machine}
GM: A diminutive patron places his drink on BB-8’s head and attempts to feed coins into a tool bay slot.
BB-8: Who is this joker?
[SFX]: klink {the patron inserts a coin into BB-8's tool slot}
Dobbu Scay: Dobbu Scay, at your service. What’s your top payout?
BB-8: Ohhh, I’m the very latest in gaming tech. The payout’s huge, but secret.
BB-8: So keep the coins coming. Can’t win if you don’t play!
Dobbu Scay: Indeed! All it takes is one good day.
[SFX]: klink {Dobbu inserts another coin}
BB-8: Click. Whirr... Sorry, try again.
{beat, Dobbu stares at BB-8}
Dobbu Scay: Ah, gambling is so treacherous.
Dobbu Scay: One moment you’re lost in a carnival of delight, adult aromas, the flashing neon of money. The next, it takes you somewhere you don’t want to be.
[SFX]: klink klink {inserts more coins}
BB-8: I know a pilot like that...
