If you're doing something surreptitious, make sure you have a good cover story for if you're caught in the act. You need to get it out without stammering or pausing for thought. Having your cover story thought out beforehand and ready for situations like this is an important part of planning any sort of infiltration or sneaky action.
Which of course means that most PCs won't bother and will have to make things up on the spot. Which is more hilarious, so it's really a win-win. At least for the GM.

Hah, better think fast Finn! Never mind on the touching moment part, and never mind on Finn possibly being on the fence. He must have been looking all kinds of suspicious or is already known to be a traitor of some kind for Rose to immediately jump up and follow him. And then said something extremely wrong for Rose to pull a shock prod on him as well. I do have to say as well that it's neat to have the threatening item be a mini-taser-on-a-stick. It makes sense as a possible item to carry for sci-fi repairs of some kind and is also notably not a blaster or knife.
If it wasn't for the medallion being shown off again though, I'd expect Rose to immediately get knocked out again as more bad luck for Ben. I guess a knock-out could still happen however; that wouldn't mean Rose ends up dying after all. So for a scene resolution, I think I'd give this even odds that Finn manages to leave in the escape pod at this point versus getting shocked. Probably with Edgar soon finding either Rose on the floor or Rose with Finn on the floor next to her as well.

Finn: I head quietly to the escape pods.
Rose: I look up just in time to glimpse Finn.
Rose: What are you doing?
Finn: Oh! Hi! I’m... checking on General Organa. Want to see how she’s doing.
Rose: In the escape pods?
Finn: What? All the signs say “Emergency”... This isn’t the hospital?
Rose: If this is the hospital, then this shock prod must be a defibrillator. {waves shock prod near Finn’s face}
Finn: Whoa! Careful with that!
[SFX]: zzzt... zzzt...
Rose: Your heart skipping a beat? Maybe you need some... therapy.
Finn: I...
