Combo attack moves are of course awesome and fun. If you're the one doing them.
If PCs can pull off cool combo moves in combat, why not have enemies do the same thing? Even GMs need a bit of fun now and then.

Ahh, there's the results I was expecting. Bonus points for alliteration by the GM too! Now, is the GM going to fiat something to save the characters or are we going to have that rescue I was predicting? I'm still hoping Allan and BB-8 or Chewie will pull something off with a ship-based rescue.
I never looked into any of the specifics of how lightsabers work beyond them needing crystals of some kind, so I'm curious what the reason might be for them always turning off when they're dropped. Story-wise, it's obviously to avoid them cutting a hole in the ground and disappearing into a molten tube or causing other problems. But it's still really quite a coincidence that it happens.

GM: Annie, Dex roll.
Finn: 6.
[SFX]: Whooom!
GM: Kylo rips the sword from your hand.
[SFX]: fliiing...
GM: It lands in the snow, 15 metres away.
[SFX]: Paff!
Kylo Ren: Combo attack! Punch and follow up with my sword. 13.
GM: You hit Finn and he pivots.
[SFX]: Whooom!
GM: Your sword sears a scar of pain up his back.
Kylo Ren: <roll> 22 damage.
Finn: Aaargghh!!
GM: That’s a serious Wound. Finn collapses in the snow.
[SFX]: thump
Kylo Ren: Well then, I guess you don’t get a grave at all.
