Stories about what former workers did are always good rumour fodder. Imagine the sorts of stories that can be circulated about people working for various fantasy or science fiction organisations.
They summoned a demon. They got eaten by a dragon. They were a dragon in disguise. They're a robot. They got cloned. They got infected by alien parasites.
You want your minion workers to be spreading all sorts of gossip like this. Just to keep things interesting.

"Zeppo? That's an embarrassing name. Their parents might as well have called them Hogarth or something." And interestingly the trooper dropped or tossed away their blaster. Along with a shield looking closer at panel 3? It's certainly not a piece of rubble, but having shields of some kind doesn't seem quite right for the stormtrooper aesthetic, even considering the new trooper designs.
Finn's doing pretty well at not losing a limb of his own so far. And not impaling himself when igniting the lightsaber a second time in the last panel. Hang on; this is probably going to push Finn to either switch sides or start his own side if this is anything like the movie script. First he'd wanted revenge for his buddy Gil, and now he finds out they've been branded traitors for the sole reason of dying in a First Order attack. Even if Zeppo doesn't look like they want to kill Finn, that's probably not the case for the rest of the attackers here. Man, I really wonder just how close this dialogue is to the movie for where the story looks like it's going.

GM: <roll> A trooper shoots a bar patron.
[SFX]: Pow!
Finn: I stab the trooper through the chest with the sword! 17!
[SFX]: Shish!!
GM: Ouch. Another trooper spots you.
Zeppo: Finn! Is that you?!
Finn: Uh...
Zeppo: Traitor!
Zeppo: That’s what they told us you were. But I never believed you defected!
Zeppo: It’s me, Zeppo! I heard about Gil, that must have been tough. C’mon man, gimme a hug!
Finn: What did they say about Gil?
Zeppo: That he was a deserter too, got what was coming to him, but—
[SFX]: Whooom!! {Finn raises his sword}
[SFX]: Pow! {trooper firing in background}
Finn: They betrayed us.
Zeppo: I take it the hug’s off, then?
