Realistic economics can add to the atmosphere of your games.

If you want the atmosphere to be one of inflation, unemployment, recession, and all those fun things.

Transcript

Deck Officer Tigran Jamiro: No, sir, I mean you can take a hoverplane.
Han: Believe me, I've tried. But there's no resale market on this hunk of ice.
Deck Officer Tigran Jamiro: Um...
Han: But enough about economics. I need to find Luke.
Han: And look, there's a won-ton right here! What are we waiting for? {mounts tauntaun}
Deck Officer Tigran Jamiro: Night's falling. Your Tauntaun'll freeze before you reach the first marker.
Han: Fish market?
Deck Officer Tigran Jamiro: Err...
Han: It's fine, I can do without the tuna booze oil. I'll go a different way.
