Episode 325: This Job Calls for a Genius

<<FIRST     <PREVIOUS     NEXT>     LATEST>>

It can be tempting to let some players play multiple characters. Or to switch from one character to another. It can solve many of the otherwise awkward problems of characters not being where the action is and so their players having to sit out large parts of the game. Or of a character moving from a foreground role to a background supporting role, leaving them not much to do any more.

Just make sure the players know that this is done by your grace, and not at the drop of a hat.

Then again... it could be fun.

Transcript

Mace Windu: I'm going to talk to the Senate!
Yoda: Address the Senate you cannot, Master Windu.
Yoda: The Jedi Council part of the Senate, are not.
Mace Windu: Hmmm.
Bail Organa: {aside} The man's right on. You gotta be some sort of rebel to try that.
Mace Windu: Jar Jar does Senating, right?
Palpatine: Er... Jar Jar is the Gungan Senator for Naboo, yes.
Mace Windu: This is really important! We need to get the army! Jar Jar will make a big speech!
Palpatine: The clone army might help us defeat the Separatists. But the Senate may disapprove of using an army they didn't know about; I can't overrule them.
Jar Jar: {Sally} Don'tsa worry, Chancellor Palpatine. Mesa has a plan!
Obi-Wan: I never thought anyone would ever say this, but suddenly Jar Jar is disturbing.
