It's part of the GM's job to put clues into the adventure to let the players figure out what's going on with the plot and the bad guys and their plans and all that sort of stuff. But it can be surprising when a player actually spots those clues.
GM: Obi-Wan, you see an entrance to the interior of the rock spire.
Obi-Wan: Right. I go in and look around.
GM: You discover a large chamber filled with an assembly line, producing combat droids.
Obi-Wan: Combat droids? Interesting.
Padmé: How so?
Obi-Wan: Jango said he doesn't trust droid armies. What the hell is he doing here? An intriguing mystery.
GM: So, you're expecting the actions of a deranged psychopathic criminal genius to be consistent?
R2-D2: Hey, be fair. Jim isn't that smart.
