Beckett: I would have shot them both, but they turned out to have been paroled.
Beckett: You left their sentence at the default six months. Why?
Dryden Vos: I figured they’d “escape” and you’d kill them in “self defence” well before then. Why the hell did you let them take six months?
Qi’ra: I can explain that. Beckett’s plan was to have me slip Enrico the keys to his and Chewie’s cuffs, so they could escape, and Beckett could kill them.
Qi’ra: But I’m hopelessly in love with him, so instead I kept the keys and forced them to stay in prison for six months.
Enrico: You traitorous termagant!
Qi’ra: Rather than get killed.
