Some people are just attracted to danger. If you have a player like this (or one who plays a character like this), then it becomes easy to tempt them into taking up the mantle of adventure. Your quest hints and dangling adventure hooks can simply emphasise how no other hero has managed to come back alive from this expedition.

Aw really? We're splitting up this quickly? I mean, I suppose this could just be another fakeout comic, but the previous one still had the group split up! I hope this won't turn out to be the case, but I can't think of any other reason for it to be mentioned. We still haven't gotten Rey and Luke back in the same general area yet!
I think those goggles actually do something! At least, I'm pretty sure turning green is a sign that they're useful. It'd be really odd to have a button that turns them green just to be green. I'd guess that it's meant to invoke a night vision aesthetic, but Kanata's face is pretty well lit up. Threepio being centered in the frame makes the placement of Kanata's speech bubble in that panel really clever at least!
Hey wait a minute. This is going to end up with Finn and Rose pretending to be delivery folks, isn't it?

Finn: Poe, 3PO, you stay here and monitor the situation.
Poe: Sounds dull.

Poe: Finn, what incriminating First Order gear do you have?
Finn: Is this some sort of trick?
Rose: Do you really think he’s clever enough to play a trick on you?
