If you catch a player in a lie about their character's intentions or desires, you can make life amusing by having NPCs grant them their "wishes". Especially effective if the one granting the wishes is a ruler or someone else important and influential, so the PCs are reluctant to point out that they didn't really mean what they said, or appear otherwise ungrateful.

You know, if someone told me that Rose was actually crazy in the movie (disregarding me sticking my fingers in my ears), I think I'd believe them at this point. This has been a pretty wide range of facial expressions since Rose's introduction, and not consistent at all with someone who's only angry, sad, or happy. I'm really looking forward to where this all goes as Leia making an appearance again this soon seems really unlikely, and it's also really hard to overlook the fact that Finn got tasered. Maybe Finn convinces Rose that his good buddy Edgar Allan Poe would like to see the trinkets first? I think that'd be a good comic excuse here for when they're all in the same room at least. The movie plot can't be this crazy anyway; Jim's not a part of their cast!

Finn: I... I can’t move.
Rose: That would be the shorting of your primary motor synapses. It’s probably not permanent.
Finn: Where are you taking me?
Rose: You wanted to check on General Organa.
Finn: Yeah, but—
Rose: I’m sure she’ll be interested to see all your trinkets!
Finn: She... doesn’t need to see those. She’s very sick.
Rose: And you’ll be floundering on the floor while I show her!
Rose: Laughter is the best medicine, after all.
Finn: I’m not laughing.
Rose: But I will be!
Finn: I mean, I’m not sure if I can.
