Doom is a fun thing to play with. When you think about it, plenty of adventurers are in fact doomed. Many will die in some adventure or other, and only the lucky few will go on to retire and live a happy life afterwards.
You can pretty easy make a prophecy that "One of your group is Doomed!" and be fairly safe that it will come true eventually. One of them is bound to meet a grisly fate sooner or later.
At least if you're playing properly!

Oh boy, the whole party is here! And I did not expect Rey to be a potential option for why Kylo flips out and kills The Man Formerly Known as Zeppo. This also puts an interesting spin on this whole conversation Pete had with the GM. I'm thinking Finn's not going to successfully shoot anyone, but that won't be for lack of trying, which will get spun as Rey doing something to cause those shots to miss.
But still, Han is seriously just walking out onto the middle of the catwalk? Did Luke give him a wrong impression about how Darth Vader and the Emperor were beaten and now he thinks that as long as he gets close enough, there's a chance to push Kylo in the pit?
Also, I guess this isn't part of the weapon system if this is in the tower that Finn and Rey came out of and then started climbing again. So I'm back to wondering why a giant pit of nothing is in the Peace Moon base. Are they just standard issue for Imperial (or Imperial-wannabe here) military bases or something?

GM: Rey, Finn, you reach the top of the tower you were climbing. An open door leads to an internal balcony.
Rey: What can we see inside?
GM: Several floors below you, Kylo Ren stands perched on a narrow bridge across a huge chasm. The Man Formerly Known as Zeppo walks out to meet him.
Kylo Ren: Do you always walk so willingly to your doom?
(No Name): It’s never failed me before.
Rey: You’ve never failed to be doomed before?
Finn: Or, more sensibly, by confronting doom he’s managed to avoid it thus far.
(No Name): One of those.
Rey: Well, I know which one I think it is.
