Recapping is an important GM skill. Nay, vital.
You know the players are going to forget all the important stuff you set up last session. They'll remember that they scored a kewl new magic sword, but they won't have the faintest recollection that they found a ledger containing evidence incriminating the king of paying off an enemy to kidnap some of his own citizens. Or that the king is a vampire.
Time to wave some wolves and bats at them.

A good recap. Recaps are very helpful to make sure everyone's on the same page before starting as it can be very easy to forget the details of what's happened between weekly (or longer!) play sessions with all the rest of life going on.
It took me a bit to recognize that the ships were in hyperspace. It probably only gets a second or two at most onscreen in the original six so it's easy to forget, plus the stretched out star lines are a more memorable design for me as well. Can definitely tell here that the Falcon is an old ship though! The window panes are a lot more noticeably dirty around the edges in the blue hyperspace light compared to the panes in the X-wing.
And ignoring the many many problems with attempting to take over something by one's self, I still wonder how exactly Pete plans to avoid getting Stasised again. Get the troopers to turn on Kylo? Hack some automated systems? Neither of those really feel like they'd successfully happen outside of a video game without some kind of prior set-up to show that skill off.

GM: Recapping last time: Finn, Chewbacca, and Zeppo are on their way to the Peace Moon in the Falcon.
Zeppo: I’ve got a really good feeling about this!
GM: Allan is leading the strike force to attack once the others take the shield down.
GM: BB-8 is in the back of Allan’s X-wing.
BB-8: Yeah, sure, fine.
GM: Don’t worry, you’ll get things to do.
Kylo Ren: He’s still annoyed about me enhancing his mecha campaign.
BB-8: I’m not.
Kylo Ren: Okay. Whatever.
GM: And Rey is trying to single-handedly capture the largest military installation in the entire Galaxy.
Rey: Someone has to do something that has a decent chance of success.
