If you get on a roll with the background NPC scenes, you may as well keep them up. It'll give you something to do while your players argue among themselves over the best way to find information in the bar.

Now that's a unique looking robot! Good scrap metal aesthetic it has as well. It reminds me of some of the old 1950s and 60s movie robots. The "hand" it has is just what I would expect as a pincher/shock probe stand-in too. It's complete opposite of what I'd want for functional humanoid robot, but here it's a great background flavor.
This scene is a little weird for me. On one hand, the last panel looks like the same one where everyone turned to look at Han Solo (or whoever) yelling they're looking for Kanata, so this could be a comic-only extra. On the other hand, it wouldn't be the first NPC-only dialog scene, which I know was actually in Episode VI albeit with a different script. Maybe this is a set-up to some of the bar denizens attacking? In-comic, this duo has a reason to go after Waldo Yanni at least.

{GA-97 (a droid) and Wollivan (a short, hairless mole-like alien) also watch the party pass by}
GA-97: Hey, look who it is.
Wollivan: Who?
GA-97: Waldo and Rey Solo. I wonder if they’re following the same lead as us.
Wollivan: Huh.
GA-97: I’m calling this in. Princess will want to know they’re safe. I bet he never checked in to let her know.
Wollivan: Yeah. He never paid us back for the wedding festivities either.
GA-97: You really need to get over Nute’s influence. Especially after what he did to your homeworld.
Wollivan: It’s so hard. Why do you think I’ve gone prematurely bald?
GA-97: I thought you’d started waxing to stop all the baby Wookiee-gram jokes. Sorry people are so cruel, good buddy.
