Pretty sure we've said this before, but if one or more of your players have special skills outside the game, see if you can somehow leverage them to useful purpose within a game. If they can help make your worldbuilding more realistic or engaging, let them. In fact actively encourage them to help.

It's really good if they can contribute to the atmosphere of the game, like Ben does here with music, or by making scene-setting art or by coming up with a cool runic language that dwarves use, or whatever. Because not only do you get something that requires potentially more skill and creativity than you can handle on your own, but it also gets the players invested with the world you're creating together.

Hah, I really like that request by the GM! It's really cool to see parts of a campaign created or contributed to by the players when not directly related to their characters. Sally's description of the factory is another great example of outside character worldbuilding. I'm hoping that we get more of this in the rest of the Episodes.

And this looks a bit more like a club or lounge area than a traditional bar. I bet this is the equivalent of the bar scene in Episode IV. Fewer weird aliens shown so far though which is a little bit of a shame. Perhaps it's more of a drug den than drinking establishment, which would handily explain the haze and other items that are obviously not drinking glasses/mugs.

Rey's new gun still looks comically bad to me in the last panel there. I wonder if she's expecting trouble in the movie; Pete certainly would be in-comic.

Transcript

GM: You walk into the bar. Weird alien music plays in the background.
[SFX]: {musical notes throughout strip}
Yanni: That’s ruddy mysterious.
Chewbacca: Ohh... That’s the piece I wrote!
Rey: Ben wrote this??
GM: Yes, I asked him for a custom piece of music a few weeks ago.
Chewbacca: He didn’t say what it was for. Just something “to suggest mystery and wonder”.
Finn: Wow, it’s really evocative. I can’t figure out what’s going on with that beat.
Chewbacca: It’s supposed to be 4/4 time.
Kylo Ren: And... those weird alien notes...
Chewbacca: That’s one of my students attempting to play trumpet.
Yanni: It’s perfect!
Chewbacca: Some parents say that, but I usually consider them delusional.
