A cool rule is that if you roll a critical failure in a combat, then your intended strike - be it swinging a melee weapon or firing a ranged weapon - could hit something you didn't want to hit, such as an allied combatant or an important piece of infrastructure. Heck, or yourself.
So make sure when combat begins that you have random tables ready to decide what vital stuff gets hit by stray blows or errant shots. This can be as simple as:
Roll a Gömböc:
1. You hit the most vital thing you really didn't want to hit.
[Reminder: Our guest commentators have not seen Rogue One. Part of the fun is seeing how their untainted impressions re-interpret the movie through the lens of our comic.]
Bwa-ha-ha.
If your primary target cannot be hit, aim at something next to your target.
I see a flaw in this monk's plan. Chirrut is not invincible to area effect attacks. Technically, a single grenade could probably have taken him out. Heck, a red dragon's fire attack could have taken him out. Or you know, an exploding fuel pump right next to you is probably the equivalent of a grenade of a red dragon attack. So that's both of his weaknesses in one shot.
So with no fuel pump, no way to turn the ship into a flying bomb, what will plan C (or are we up to D? E? ...) turn out to be?

Chirrut: I throw the switch.
Bodhi: Fuel's flowing! The ship will be full in twelve minutes!
Chirrut: Oh yeah! Who's the man? Who saves the mission from certain doom?!
GM: Troopers are still firing at you, by the way.
[SFX]: Pow! Pow!
Chirrut: Who's invincible!?
GM: One critically misses, thereby hitting an Imperial target adjacent to you.
Chirrut: Yeah! Taste it!!
GM: That target being... <roll>... the fuel pump.
{beat; Chirrut looking shocked}
