Episode 1455: Swing Delivery

<<FIRST     <PREVIOUS     NEXT>     LATEST>>

Having lots of different coloured dice is always useful for rolling lots of different things at once. And for showing off your collection and impressing the other players with it. In fact, the biggest dice collection should probably be worth bonuses in-game. It shows your character is likely to be obsessive and completist, which means a good eye for otherwise trivial details that other characters might miss.

Try that one on your GM and see how it goes.

GM: ... All right, then. Make a Wisdom roll to see if you realise how bad an idea this is, a Perception roll to see if you can spot which end is the mouth, a Strength roll to hold on, a Dodge roll to avoid being bitten, an Acrobatics roll to land, and a save versus Venom.
GM: Which is equal to your Poison save with a +0 modifier.
Chewbacca: I'm just going to roll all these at once.
R2-D2: With different coloured dice.
Chewbacca: Yep. Blue represents Wisdom, yellow is Perception, red is Strength, orange is Dodge, white is Acrobatics, and purple is Venom.
R2-D2: No! Purple would be poison! Green is venom!
{beat}
Chewbacca: Okay, give me the green one.
[SFX]: roll roll roll roll roll roll
Chewbacca: Fail, fail, pass, pass, pass, fail.
GM: ... Right. In that case, you all land safely on the chicken walker.
Chewbacca: I don't know how we swung that.
