Always do the last thing your enemy expects.
If you're clever, that means you should make meta-use of your enemy's genre-savvyness by not expecting them to do something completely stupid - so that they go ahead and do something completely stupid.
Looks like the Peace Moon commanders are meta-tactical geniuses.

Han: The Peace Moon, right here! What a stroke of luck!
Han: Are you up for this, Chewie?
Chewbacca: Like the raid on Orron III?
Han: Yeah! Good times.
Chewbacca: We were captured and enslaved for six months.
Han: But we got out, right? And made a tidy profit.
Chewbacca: Righty-o then. Once more unto the breach. One only lives once, and all that.
Obi-Wan: You realise it was the Peace Moon that blew up Naboo? It must be fully armed and operational.
Obi-Wan: It's probably crawling with troops.
Han: We fly straight in!
Luke: Seriously?
C-3PO: The plan was to talk to Jar Jar, sneak in, and get the Orb. Can we at least sneak in?
Han: Hey, a frontal assault is the last thing they'll expect.
R2-D2: It will put us out of the weapon's firing arc.
Obi-Wan: And give you a chance to capture it?
R2-D2: You said it, I didn't.
