Padmé: Obi-Wan! It is a pleasure to see you.
Obi-Wan: I'm concerned about Anakin. I've found out that he slaughtered hundreds of Jedi, including children.
Padmé: Oh! I was completely and totally unaware of any of this. Also, that is terrible.
Obi-Wan: Um. We need to confront him. He must be brought to justice.
Padmé: Yes. Yes, he must. I am in full agreement on this point.
{beat}
Obi-Wan: So... I was hoping I could count on your help. You can reach out to him.
Padmé: Yes. I will help you bring Anakin to justice. After all, you are the only thing standing between Anakin and complete domination of the Galaxy.
Padmé: On his own, obviously, without me faithfully by his side. Seeing as I'm Good.
Obi-Wan: Indeed.
Padmé: I'll just go and talk to him in advance and make sure he's not ready for you.
