Passing notes in a game is kind of like passing notes in class. That illicit thrill of secret knowledge. The in-crowd feeling of belonging to an exclusive club. And the risk of being caught out if someone unintended sees the note.

Always demand your notes back as soon as the player has read them.

Count Dookû: Zut alors! You do not 'ave to trust moi. Zere is a copy of ze plans in ze ship's computer. Take ze look for yourself!
Obi-Wan: We'll soon see. R2, find those plans.
R2-D2: On it.
GM: Okay Pete, this note describes what you see.
Palpatine: You cannot trust whatever may be in those plans; Dookû will probably have doctored them.
R2-D2: Psssh. It's just an artificial moon. Made of rock.
Count Dookû: Hwat?!
Obi-Wan: You're sure?
R2-D2: Please. You think I can't tell the difference between a lump of inert rock and a giant doomsday weapon? Me?
[SFX]: Whooom!
[SFX]: Whooom!
[SFX]: Whooom!
[SFX]: Kzzrkzkk!
Obi-Wan: You're absolutely sure?
GM: I'll have that note back thanks, Pete.
R2-D2: Look, I'm telling the truth! What reason could I possibly have for concealing the existence of a massive superweapon?
[SFX]: Push! {Dookû Force pushes Obi-Wan away}
[SFX]: Whooom!
[SFX]: Whooom!
Anakin: You do realise it wouldn't fit inside your chassis?
