At certain points in an adventure campaign, it serves to have a brief summing up of the actions of consequence so far. At this point it's handy to have an NPC who needs to be informed by another NPC, so that the players can hear the summary in character.

Our GM has a slight tendency to get a little carried away with NPC to NPC conversations.

Obi-Wan: He is one with the Force, Anakin. You must let go.
Anakin: What will happen to me now?
Obi-Wan: I'm to train you as a Jedi. You should find it... a bit more instructive than the training you've received so far.
Mace Windu: {to Yoda} So, explain to me again what happened?
Yoda: The Lost Orb recovered, has been. But at large, Valorum still is.
Yoda: And regroup, the Trade Federation will.
Mace Windu: But they've been defeated, right?
Yoda: The ambition of the Trade Federation to be underestimated is not. The moon of Naboo blew up, they did.
Mace Windu: What?! They blew up the mother-frakking moon?! Why doesn't anyone ever tell me about stuff??
