Think about it. It makes perfect sense for the Gungans to mount an offensive against the humans of Naboo at this point. They have their entire army assembled and ready to march. The Naboo are weakened and shell-shocked by the Trade Federation occupation. And, boy oh boy, they are completely not expecting it.

And what have the humans ever done for the Gungans anyway? Invaded their home planet and forced them to live in secrecy? Brought powerful enemies with them who then also attempt to invade the Gungan homeworld?

When you really consider it carefully, the question is why would the Gungans not attack the Naboo at this point? Especially when they would make such a good food source. The only possible answer is that they're too easily distracted...

R2-D2: Even better than I'd hoped.

GM: Why not? I encourage creativity in my players.
Obi-Wan: I... think the dinosaur ponies are tired from the fighting. They need to be fed.
