Narrating your fight moves can be a fun way of adding entertainment and interest to a fight, rather just rolling dice and reciting numbers. A cool way to do this is for the GM to ask the players to provide some narration. Particularly if they fail.
Player: I roll to hit the ogre! Oof, I rolled a 1.
GM: You fail in a spectacular manner. Tell us how you fail and exactly what happens!
Player: I aim for its head with my sword, but miss and it gets briefly entangled in the tapestry behind, pulling it from the wall as I try to regain my ready stance.
Some games explicitly do this, but not the popular Dungeons & Dragons. But that doesn't mean you can't add it into your D&D game if you want!

Back-to-back fighting! A classic tactic to use against multitudes of enemies! I think I count the fight as being a 6-on-2, and there might even be more off-screen. Dang, but this would be a great scene to see in motion. We even get a close-up of Kylo's unstable lightsaber with the arcing on the blade!
And yeah, they definitely could have started sooner. But as a participant in a game, it is nice to get to see the whole action rather than just my part of it. And when it's not a foregone conclusion (like it is here with Rey) to get to groan or laugh at fellow players' failures as well.
