Episode 500: A Stark Decision

Player characters are, often, the movers and shakers of their game world. Perhaps not when starting out on their adventuring careers, but sooner or later most PCs develop into powerful personalities who can bend the ears of kings, decide the policies of governments, and influence the fate of entire worlds. So occasionally there comes a time when a PC's decision will alter the entire course of their game universe's history - a history which hasn't been written yet.

Try to identify these momentous occasions. So later you can remind your players just how ridiculously they came about.

Mon Mothma: Okay, this is, like, so grody. Someone should totally go to Naboo or something.
Padmé: Yeah, why isn't the Senate sending anyone?
Bail Organa: They assigned Anakin and Obi-Wan, but—
Padmé: Against a whole invasion fleet! It's unfair!
Bail Organa: They can handle themselves.
Padmé: I should be out there blasting aliens too!
Bail Organa: {aside} Please, lock me up. I'm gonna hit somebody and I don't want to.
Padmé: Right! We'll stand up to the Senate!
Bail Organa: You mean... some sorta rebellion?
Padmé: Yeah! That's settled, then.
Mon Mothma: Um, hello? We're like totally Senators.
Padmé: Oh. So... what do we rebel against?
Bail Organa: What do you got?
