Hitting your own weapon is always fun. When running a game, always make sure you have a table of cool results that can happen on critical combat failures that produce various forms of weapon damage.
About the only thing better is the table for hitting yourself.

Anakin: I Force Pull Obi-Wan's sword and charge Dookû before he zaps me again.
[SFX]: whoooosh
Count Dookû: You are not in control of your passions, young Padawan.
Anakin: Don't condescend to me, you damn dirty Sith.
[SFX]: Whooom!
[SFX]: Whooom!
Count Dookû: 'Ow dare you blacken mah name!
Count Dookû: Ze Sith are zhust legends. Told to children like yourself to scare zem at night.
[SFX]: Whooom!
Anakin: Who are you working with?!
Obi-Wan: Careful with those swords, Anakin. You'll cut someth—
Anakin: Whoops.
GM: Critical failure. Roll on the self-hit table.
[SFX]: krtzssshh! {Anakin cuts his own laser sword in half}
[SFX]: clang clang {the halves of the sword fall to the ground}
Obi-Wan: Never mind. Problem solved.
